If I’m already a Switch member, can I use my purchase credit toward buying something from the sample sale?

No, purchase credit you’ve earned through your Switch membership cannot be used towards a purchase from the Switch Sample Sale. Switch Sample Sale items are being sold through a different inventory management system and website, which makes it impossible for us to integrate purchase credit or any other data relating to your Switch membership. We hope the super hefty discounts make up for it!

What condition are the items in?

Many items in the Switch Sample Sale are brand new, and we note that in the description when that’s the case. Others have been previously worn, with varying levels of wear. If an item shows more noticeable signs of use, we include close-up photos to highlight them.

Photos on each product page are a reliable guide, and if you’d like additional images for any piece priced over $500, feel free to email us.

 

 

What’s the return policy for items purchased from the Switch Sample Sale?

All Sample Sale purchases are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged — that’s how we’re able to offer such steep discounts. That said, you always have the option to resell through consignment platforms like The RealReal, and many customers even end up doing so at a profit. If you’d like to try pieces before committing to ownership, consider a Switch membership instead.

 

Do items come with original packaging?

Some of the items offered in the Switch Sample Sale, such as most Chanel and Hermès pieces, will come with original branded packaging. If branded packaging will be provided, it will say so in the product description. If it doesn’t say anything about original packaging in the description, it’s safe to assume that it won’t be provided.

 

 

Is shipping free?

Yes! All orders ship free via 2-Day FedEx and are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Some pieces may require additional processing time, but if so, that will be noted in the product description.

 

Why are you selling these items?

We’re selling the items you see on the Switch Sample Sale for many different reasons. A lot of these styles were samples (hence the name ‘Sample Sale’), used for photoshoots, R&D, or other applications. In some cases, we had excess inventory. For a few items, we realized that they’re not quite high-end enough for the Select tier yet they’re too expensive for us to carry as part of our Core membership. There are also some pieces that don’t fit in our standard Switch packaging so they’re impractical for our membership service. Regardless, our goal is to sell these pieces as quickly as possible so we can use those proceeds to buy more of the styles that are in high demand for Switch memberships.
